Our wet bench and fume hood systems are used for wet chemical handling of various applications, electropolishing and/or citric / nitric acid passivation as well as other chemical wet process applications. Typical construction materials include polypropylene, stainless steel, PVDF as well as Teflon®, PFA, and ECTFE (HALAR®) depending on the chemical handling properties required for the application. Our manufactured wet benches include simple polymer based tanks typically made from polypropylene (PP).
Part Cleaning, Passivation, Electropolishing Wet Bench with Ultrasonics
This integrated wet bench has intank cross flow exhaust allowing for cleaning, rinsing, passivation and final rinsing in an open top wet bench.
Enclosed Fume Hood Wet Bench for Electropolishing and Nitric Acid Neutralization / Passivation with Exhaust
Above enclosed wet bench allows for post clean processing electropolishing, rinsing, nitric acid neutralization and passivation, and a final rinse.

Our wet bench systems are used for semiconductor chemical handling of various applications, electro-chemical processing and/or acid processing as well as other chemical wet process applications.
Common Applications for Wet Benches and Chemical Handling Benches
- Medical device stent polishing / deburring of stainless steel and cobalt chrome
- Industrial, aerospace and medical device stainless steel passivation per ASTM A967 with:
- Printed circuit board and silicon semiconductor photoresist stripping using chemistry like ACT970 etch residue remover and others
- Medical device electropolishing of titanium (Ti) and nickel titanium (nitinol) which require exhausting
